Scrappy Saturday Challenge #31

Good morning, and welcome to my first, Wee Memories' Scrappy Saturday Challenge, as a Design Team Member, specifically, Challenge #31: Dust Off That Patterned Paper.  Whoo hoo!

This week's prize is a $20 gift certificate to Paper Maniac.  Yippeee!

I reached right into my scrap, patterned, paper bin, for this challenge.  I started, this card, by piecing together horizontal strips of patterned paper and machine stitching an ivory-threaded, straight-stitch frame, around their edges, and ivory-threaded, zig-zag stitches, between the top, two papers, before adhering the prepped piece to my Cajun Craze, cardstock, card face.

I, then, adhered a length of ivory lace, right where the bottom, two, patterned papers met, and embellished its top edge with a So Saffron, grosgrain ribbon...

which was wrapped around the card face; tied in a bow, near the right edge of of the card face; and embellished with a yellow button, laced with Baker's Twine, and a stamped, in Moonlight White ink, on a hand cut, Early Espresso, cardstock tag, "Follow your {heart}, it knows the way" sentiment.

Finally, a hand cut, from floral, patterned paper, heart was adhered, with dimensionals, just to the left of the embellished bow.
