DeNami Gift Tags Blog Hop

Welcome to my very first DeNami Blog Hop: Gift Tags!  I was sooo excited to get my, little, turtle stamp, that I just had to join in!  If you're arriving here from the talented Kristy Smith's blog, then you're on the right track!  Don't forget that you can, always, head back to the DeNami Design blog, for the complete list of designers, if you ever get lost along the way.

I started, this tag, by stamping polka dots, in Moonlight White ink, on my Cricut-cut, from Real Red cardstock, tag base.  I, then, layered a strip of red, gingham, patterned paper, as well as a strip of green, polka dot, patterned paper, from side to side, near the bottom of the tag; stamped the "TO" and "FROM" sentiments, in Basic Black ink, below the patterned papers; wrapped a Basic Gray, taffeta ribbon, around the tag base, between the two, patterned papers; and tied it, in a bow, to the left edge of the tag base.

The turtle was stamped, in Jet Black ink, on white cardstock; colored with Always Artichoke ink and a blender pen; punched out; edged with a stamped, in Real Red ink, brush stroke; and adhered to the center of a vellum, fan flower, which was, in turn, adhered to the top center of the tag base, just above the ribbon.  A length of red, Baker's Twine, wrapped through the tag's hole, makes this tag package ready.
