Wplus9 Feb. Release Sneak Peek: Day 4

So glad to have you back for Day 4 of Wplus9 Design's February, Release, Sneak Peeks!
I started this card by distressing the edges of a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock with Tea Dye and Antique Linen inks; trimming its bottom edge with strips of torn, across their bottom edges, patterned papers and Very Vanilla cardstock; and machine stitching ivory-threaded, straight stitches around the Crumb Cake cardstock and ivory-threaded, zig-zag stitches between the cardstock and the torn papers.  I, then, adhered a hand cut, from a polka dot, patterned paper, heart, just left of vertical center, above and slightly overlapping the torn papers and machine-stitched, with ivory-threaded, straight stitches, around its edges. The entire, prepped piece was, then, adhered to the Bordering Blue, cardstock, card face.
The postage stamp image was stamped, in Crumb Cake ink, on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock; filled in with the partial, stamped, in Bordering Blue ink, "You" sentiment; adhered over the right side of the stitched heart; and stamped over, in Basic Black ink, with the postal emblem, which was further personalized with a "February 14" date.  Just LOVE that you can give this emblem whatever date, under the sun, your little heart desires.  It is going to be invaluable to my scrapbook layouts.  Speaking of which, be sure to come back, tomorrow, for a little peek at how I did use it on one.
I, then, stamped the completed, "LOVE" sentiment, in Bordering Blue ink, on Very Vanilla cardstock; distressed its edges with Tea Dye and Antique Linen inks; and anchored it, in the top right of the heart, above the postage stamp, with an antique brad, to complete the look.
My color inspiration, for this card, came from the Neutrals Color Challenge, for Color Inspiration for Card Makers Week, in the Moxie Fab World.

Thanks so much for stopping by my little corner of the web!  Sooo looking forward to you all visiting, tomorrow, for our Group Post.  Have a wonderful, work week!  And, as always, be sure to go check out what the other designers have in store, for you, today.  Oh!  And just a little tip for those of you who commented that you liked my punched, phonebook pages in yesterday's post.  When you're punching those thin pages, put a piece of scrap cardstock behind them.  You'll be so much more happy with the result and won't be hollering profanities at your ripped pages.  Hee!  Thanks again!
