Topeka Zoo

I told you all, yesterday, that we extended our Spring Break, just a bit, to spend a day with some of the cousins.  Well, they're visiting Grandma for a few days.  So, we met them all at the Topeka Zoo to enjoy one last day of beautiful weather.  Matter of fact, it reached nearly 80 degrees.  It's so crazy to think that our Spring Break began with snow and ended with 80 degree temperatures.  I guess what everyone says about Kansas really is true.  If you don't like the weather, just stick around for another day.  LOL!  Anyway, here's the whole crew (from left to right, in the photo below, Ezekiel, Adina, Jenna, Madison, and Grant).

These are just a few of my favorite animal takes.  Isn't that baby hippo just the cutest?!

This guy's growls made me a bit nervous.  He sounded uber unhappy.  Thank goodness for those bars/glass between him and us!

Adina insisted these flamingos were ducks.  I just couldn't convince her otherwise.  So funny!
