What a busy weekend it has been! I have plenty of pictures to show (shooting for tomorrow), but for now, I've got a sweet, little, papercrafty number for you all.
I started, this card, by punching a piece of aqua, damask, patterned paper, vertically, down either of its outside edges; piecing it between two, other, patterned papers; trimming them across their bottom with a piece of punched, aqua, flourish, patterned paper; machine stitching, with white-threaded, straight stitches, around their edges; and adhering the prepped piece to the Crumb Cake, cardstock, card face.
I, then, wrapped a peach ribbon, around the card face, between the vertical, patterned papers and punched, bottom, patterned paper and tied it, in a bow, just right of center.
The "Happy Birthday" sentiment was stamped, in Moonlight White ink, just below the punched, patterned, paper edge, near the left side of the card face.
Finally, I pierced a handmade, fabric, basic, layered, box flower pin, embellished with a pink, Vintage Style button and a Vintage brad...
right through the center of the top of the card face...
to create an extra, little gift for the birthday girl herself and to complete the look.
My inspiration, for this card, came from the Tuesday Trigger: Oh So Lovely in the Moxie Fab World. LOVED that flower bunch on a neutral field of aqua and kraft! Simply gorgeous!
And before I run, I'm so, stinkin' thrilled to share, with you all, this fun feature, of one of my creations, over at Live a Little Wilder. Eeeek! Thanks so much, Sarah! Have a fabulous week, everyone!
