GS #81 & Embellish Decorative Trim Color Trends Challenge

Good afternoon!  We're having family friends over for dinner tonight, so I've been busy baking, cooking, and cleaning for the better part of my day.  I know that a hush is going to fall over the crowd when I say this, but I really love doing all these things.  It's just sometimes difficult to balance them with all the other treasures that have been blessed to my care.  I'm sure all you moms and pet owners and wives out there understand completely.  So, I've got a sweet, little, papercrafty number, for you all, today.
I started this card by stamping the leafy pattern, in Old Olive ink, on the Old Olive, cardstock, card face; trimming about 1/2" off each vertical edge on the front panel; adhering a white, paper doily in the top center; and wrapping both a length of white lace and a gorgeous, kiwi ribbon (The latter of which was tied, in a bow, near the left edge of the card face.) around its center.  I, then, embellished my bow with a white string bow; a couple of green, leaf, stick pins; and a green, paper rose.
The scallops are punched, from Barely Banana cardstock, 1-3/8" circles which were adhered to the front panel and aligned with the back panel of the card face.
Finally, I white embossed the "congratulations" sentiment in the bottom right corner to complete the look.
This card is for Paper Smooches' Wedding Hop in honor of Kim's big day! Congrats, Kim!  It should be arriving in your mailbox in the next few days.  And it was inspired by Get Sketchy's Challenge #81...
and Embellish's Decorative Trim Color Trends Challenge.
K... I'm off to frost a carrot cake, check on the post roast in the oven, mop the kitchen floor, and tackle the never-ending stack of dirty dishes.  Thanks so much for stopping by, ya'll!  Have a great day, and please don't forget that you have until 10:59 pm EST tonight to link up your takes for the current Color Cue {13} over at the Wplus9 Design Blog.  LOVE to see what you've got up your sleeves for Kerrianne's gorgeous color picks!
