I started this card by piecing strips from a variety of different, orange, patterned papers, vertically, along the top of a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and machine stitching, with ivory-threaded, zig-zag stitches, between their connections and around their outside edges.
I then trimmed them, along their bottom edge, with a stamped, in Only Orange ink, on Very Vanilla cardstock, orange strip, which also had been hand cut out and glittered.
The stamped oranges were topped with a piece of ivory, ruler, patterned paper, just before the "Hey Sweetie!" sentiment was stamped, in Basic Black ink, in the bottom right corner. Finally, the entire prepped piece was adhered to the Very Vanilla, cardstock, card face and embellished with both a double, hemp, twine bow, as well as a stamped, in Jet Black ink, on canvas; hand cut; layered; and pierced with an orange, corduroy brad, flower...
to complete the look.My inspiration for this card came from Mojo Monday's Week #194 Sketch...

Well, I've got a big kiddo to get off to Vacation Bible School. Then, Adina and I are going to try to sneak in a walk, before it gets atrociously hot. Thanks so much for stopping by, ya'll! And have a terrific Tuesday!
