Woohoo! We're back with another, fabulous release from Wplus9 Design and super excited about three, new, stamp sets, as well as three, new dies, all with February's Valentine holiday in mind! Eeek! Today we're showing off Love You More, and I snuck in there the new, Hearts & Clouds die, which also coordinates with tomorrow's stamp set. Although, you won't see it again here for a couple of days. So, anyway, how about I stop rambling, so you can check out what Dawn has in store for you this month?
I started this card by stamping the row of x's and hearts, in Real Read ink, across the bottom of a piece of woodgrain patterned paper; trimming it above with a piece of red, floral, patterned paper; framing the two with a piece of Whisper White cardstock; filling in the space just above the stamped edge and left of vertical center with a strip of black, polka dot, patterned paper, to which I added a little glittery goodness; and machine stitching, with red-threaded, zig-zag stitches, around the outside edges of all patterned papers, before adhering the prepped piece to the Crumb Cake, cardstock, card face and distressing the edges of everything with Tea Dye and Antique Linen inks.
I then wrapped a length of red, gingham ribbon, around the center of the card face, between the horizontal, patterned, paper connection; tied it, in a bow, near the right edge of the card face; and embellished it with a red button, laced with a hemp twine bow.
The partial "LOVE" sentiment was stamped, in White ink, on a die cut, using the Label Layers 1 die, from Crumb Cake cardstock, which also had been distressed with Tea Dye and Antique Linen inks. I then filled the space inside the banner in with the stamped, in Real Red ink, and completed "Today, Tomorrow, Forever" sentiment; and ya'll, this set is packed with options for that little banner. Woohoo! Finally, I clear embossed the pierced heart right in the center of the large, polka dot heart and over the existing sentiment, before adhering it, with foam tape, just left of the embellished bow, to complete the look.
Inspiration for this card came from the Tuesday Trigger: Red & Rustic in the Moxie Fab World.
But I didn't stop there! Check out this beauty!
I started this card by machine stitching, with ivory-threaded, straight stitches, around the edges of a piece of brown, damask, patterned paper; adhering it to the Very Vanilla, cardstock, card face; and dressing it, down its right side, with a strip of brown, stripe, patterned paper, which had been distressed with Tea Dye and Antique Linen ink and die cut, using the Hearts & Clouds die, with a column of hearts, before being anchored, down its vertical sides, with ivory-threaded, zig-zag, machine stitches.
I then wrapped a length of teal ribbon down the left side of the die cut piece; tied it, in a bow, near the top edge of the card face; and embellished it with a red, country flower, backed with a trio of hemp twine bows.
The sentiment block was stamped, in Cherry Cobbler, Taken With Teal, Early Espresso, and Pretty in Pink inks, on a string-laced tag and adhered, with foam tape, in the bottom left corner of the card face, tucked under the embellished bow.
