We're back, y'all, with more of Wplus9 Design's February/March Release! And today we're showing off Lacey Layers and its coordinating Lacey Layers die, as well as Embroidered Bouquet. You're going to love these beauties, guys!
I started this card by stamping the lacy edges and coordinating fillers, in Not Quite Navy, Tempting Turquoise, and Riding Hood Red inks, on White, cardstock, coordinating die cuts.
I then pieced many of them onto and over the edges of a piece of dictionary, patterned paper, trimming the overhanging edges flush with the edges of the patterned paper; adhered it to the Kraft, cardstock, card face; and machine stitched, with red-threaded, straight stitches, around its edges, skipping over the stamped die cuts themselves.
A few more of those stamped die cuts were then adhered with foam tape, and others yet were laced with white string, tied, in knots, to the front of the card face. Finally, the center doily was topped with a stamped, in White ink, on a Not Quite Navy, cardstock, banner die cut, "FRIEND" sentiment and flanked with stamped, once again, in White ink, vines.
Now, off you go to see what the rest of this talented team has whipped up. And please join us tomorrow for yet another day of projects, boasting one, final, stamp set and coordinating die. Until then, thanks for stopping by, and have a terrific weekend!
