Off the Wall Craftiness Challenge #13

Happy July, everyone!  Can you believe that it's, already, here?!  I've got lots of things, from our week, to share; but they'll have to wait for another post, because I've got bathrooms to clean, while the little one is, still, sleeping.  Don't take off too fast, though; because I'm sooo excited to bring you my take on Kim's Off the Wall Craftiness Challenge #13 today!
I, absolutely, love all of her, inspirational, photo challenges; but, unfortunately, I don't get the chance to play along as often as I'd like.  This one is no different!  It's, absolutely, breathtakingly, gorgeous!  Here's what I came up with.
I started this card by layering a strip of plaid, patterned paper, horizontally, across the bottom of the Tempting Turquoise, cardstock, card face and machine stitching a hot-pink-threaded, straight stitch around its edges.  I, then, layered a strip of trimmed, with a strip of punched, Pixie Pink cardstock, kitchen-themed, glitter paper, vertically, down the left side of the card face.  A hot-pink-threaded, straight, machine stitch was, then, sewn down its far left edge, and a hot-pink-threaded, zig-zag stitch was sewn between it and its punched, Pixie Pink, cardstock trim.  The damask image was white embossed, in the center of the open space above the plaid, patterned paper, just for added texture.  I, then, wrapped a sheer, pink ribbon, vertically, around the card face; tied it in a bow; and embellished it with a pink button, laced with hot pink, embroidery floss.  The banner was hand-cut from treat-themed, glitter paper; threaded with a length of hot pink, embroidery floss, which was tied, in small knots, at each end; and adhered in the upper left corner with dimensionals.  The "THANK you" sentiment was stamped, in Tempting Turquoise ink, in a stamped, in Pretty in Pink ink, frame, on white cardstock; distressed with Chamomile and Chai inks; and adhered, over the plaid, patterned paper, with dimensionals.
Finally, the outside edges, of the entire card face, were distressed with Moonlight White, Chamomile, & Chai inks.
Thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!
