CCG #156

I've got my take on Color Combos Galore's Inspiration Board #156, for you all, today, too.
This week's color inspiration, also, came with a sketch.
Here's what I came up with.
I started this page by layering the number, patterned, paper strip, horizontally, just below center, on the So Saffron, textured, cardstock page.  I, then, adhered the plaid, patterned paper, trimmed, along its left side, with a punched strip of Basic Gray cardstock, as well as a punched strip of red, polka dot, patterned paper, in the center of the layout, over the number, patterned, paper strip and ran a gray-threaded, straight-stitch frame around its edges.  A length of red trim, pierced with a star-tipped pin, was, then, adhered between the plaid, patterned paper and Basic Gray, cardstock strip.
A red, polka dot, photo corner; a paper-pierced frame around the photo; a bottle cap, dressed up with the stamped, in Real Red ink, and distressed, with Tea Dye and Antique Linen inks, "cute" phrase...
a few, white, cardstock, journal strips, which read, Just being so silly with a barrette you found at the park clipped in your gorgeous locks. 12.20.08; and a felt, "FUN" title, complete the look.
This is my second post for the day, so, please, be sure to scroll down to my OTWC #21, CREATE: Star-Shaped Challenge, & BIG NEWS post, too!  And have a super, fantastic day!  Tomorrow's Friday!
