Three in One

As promised, in my previous, Sketchy Thursdays post, I have a fantastic combination of challenges, for you all, this afternoon, beginning with Wee Memories' Butterflies Challenge #17 and Off the Wall Craftiness' Color Inspiration Challenge #19.
I combined them with Waltzingmouse's Sketch Challenge #9...
and came up with this.
I started this card by stamping the flourishes, in Certainly Celery ink, on a piece of white cardstock; machine stitching white-threaded, straight stitches around its edges; and distressing it with Tea Dye and Antique Linen inks.  I, then, adhered a length of pink trim, horizontally, just above center, around the prepped piece; wrapped hemp twine, twice, around its center; and tied it in a bow, just left of center, before adhering it, with dimensionals, to the Barely Banana, cardstock, card face.  The "Thank You" sentiment, which had been white embossed on a piece of Certainly Celery cardstock, which, in turn, had its bottom corners rounded, was tucked under the bottom of the pink trim, just right of center.
All the butterfly images were stamped, from largest to smallest, in Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, and Barely Banana inks, on white cardstock, and hand cut out.  Finally, I glittered the largest, Pretty in Pink butterfly; adhered each of the butterflies, haphazardly, just at their centers; and clammed up their centers with pearls and Desert Sun gemstones.
Oh!  And sooo excited, to tell you all, that this creation won CAS-tastic Wednesday's Top 5!  Once again, as Adina would say, Yihooo!  And thanks, from the bottom of my heart, ladies!  Have a wonderful break!

Another fantastic creation. I adore how you can have a lot of layers yet still be able to design it so that each element shines in its own right. Absolutely amazing. Love the background stamp too!
