Wplus9 September Release Sneak Peek: Day 2

Saturday, August 28, 2010

Good morning!  Back for another round, are you?  Yea!  And welcome to day two of Wplus9 Design's September release sneak peeks.
I started this card by stamping the leaf stem image, several times, in Barely Banana ink, on a piece of Barely Banana cardstock; trimming it, across the bottom, with a punched strip of white cardstock; machine stitching, with white-threaded, straight stitches, around its edges; and adhering it to the Lavender Lace, cardstock, card face.
I, then, stamped the flower images, an outline and a solid image, about twelve of them in all, in Lavender Lace ink, on purple tissue paper; hand cut them out; adhered them, haphazardly, one on top of the other; and embellished the top flower's center with pearls.
Two, stamped, in Old Olive ink, on Old Olive cardstock, leaves; a stamped, in Lavender Lace, "Congratulations" sentiment, which is going to get a lot of mileage in this stamper's creations; and a sheer, olive ribbon, wrapped around the card face, just above the sentiment, and tied in a bow, just left of center, complete the look.
If you haven't done so, already, run check out these design team members' sneak peeks, and have a fantastic Sunday!  We're, finally, off to church as a family, now that all of us are well!
