Good morning! You should be arriving here, for the blog hop, via Wee Memories, for another Scrappy Saturday Challenge. The design team left it wide open with Challenge #24: Clean and Simple (CAS) and/or Tags.
So, I reached out to The Playdate Cafe's Challenge #48 for a little color inspiration...
and came up with this.
I started this card by machine stitching, with gray-threaded, straight stitches, a double frame, around the edges of the floral, patterned paper, before adhering it to the Basic Gray, cardstock, card face.
I, then, stamped the letters, in Elegant Eggplant ink, on a piece of Elegant Eggplant cardstock; glittered just the "h" and "i" letters to create my "hi" sentiment...
tore it across the top; embellished it, across the bottom, with a punched strip of Old Olive cardstock; and adhered it, over the floral patterned paper, near the bottom of the card face.
A little, bright green, velvet ribbon, tied in a bow, just right of center, completes the look.
Now, it's your turn, so get creating! You have until 11:59 pm PST, next Friday, October 1st, to link up your entry for a grand prize of a $10 gift certificate to Simon Says Stamp!
This is my last Saturday guest designing for Wee Memories. It has been a super, fun month; and I feel, extremely, blessed and honored to have had the opportunity to work with such a fabulously talented group of individuals. Thank you, again and again, Jenny!
From here, you're heading over to check out the sweet Vera Yates' creation. Be sure to leave everyone a comment along the way. We all love hearing from our readers! Have fun, and thanks so much for stopping by!
