Embellish Vintage Color Challenge

Lookie what my hubby just brought home to me!
We've had a lot of difficult things happening, in our personal lives, lately, and this was his way of saying that he hopes my day gets off to a good start and is filled with all the things that I love, which in this case, is daisies and Pumpkin Spice Lattes.  Yippeee!  Amidst all the tough stuff, papercrafting has remained my comfort.  So, I do have a card, for you all, today.
I started this card by adhering a piece of floral, rust, patterned paper to the bottom of a piece of green, text, patterned paper; machine stitching an ivory-threaded, straight-stitch frame around their outside edges; and adhering them to the ivory, cardstock, card face.  I, then, stamped three, different, design images, in Old Olive, Really Rust, and Summer Sun inks, on a Cricut-cut, ivory, cardstock tag and distressed its edges with Tea Dye and Antique Linen inks, before adhering it in the top left corner of the card face and spritzing the entire card face with Chocolate Chip and Close to Cocoa inks.
A couple of rubons, glitter, and a length of ivory lace brings us to the hand-cut, fabric heart, which was machine stitched, to the card face, over all layers, with ivory-threaded, zig-zag stitches.
A length of seam binding ribbon, stained with Yellow Daisy Glimmer Mist, was, then, wrapped around the card face, just above the lace and over the fabric heart; tied, in a dressy bow, to the left of the fabric heart; and embellished with an olive button, laced with hemp twine; a little, Really Rust button, laced with Baker's Twine; and a green, leaf pin.
Finally, I added the "much thanks", cardstock, sticker sentiment...
in the bottom right corner of the card face and machine stitched it in place, with ivory-threaded, zig-zag stitches, along its upper left edge.
This card was inspired by Embellish's Vintage Color Challenge.
I'm, also, adding it to Betsy Veldman's challenge to create something using a vintage item of your choice.  That fabric came from a box that had been setting in BJ's grandmother's house for ages.  She's no longer with us, and who knows if she had it handed down to her.  Whatever the case, I think that it qualifies as vintage.  And look at all these scrumptious goodies that arrived, in the mail, yesterday.  I won this first batch from JBS Mercantile for being named their October Customer Spotlight Winner.  Yum-O!
This second batch came from Elusive Images for being named The Play Date Cafe's Cup of the Week.  So fun!
Thank you, everyone!  And thanks so much, to all of you bloggers, for stopping by!  I cannot tell you how much your comments mean to me!
