Good, Monday morning to you all, and thanks for stopping by!  I've got a fun, little card, for you all, today.
I started this card by stamping the flourishes, in Crumb Cake ink, on a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, which had its top corners rounded and its edges softened with Moonlight White ink.
I then, layered a strip of punched, across the bottom, floral, patterned paper near the bottom of the stamped cardstock; trimmed it, across its top, with a length of twill tape, whose center had been embellished with a length of mint green trim; and wrapped a length of hemp twine, around the stamped cardstock, twice, just below the twill.  The hemp twine was finished off by being laced through a blue button and tied in a bow, as well as, being embellished with a stamped, in Brocade Blue ink, on ivory cardstock, "you're too kind", sentiment, which had been hand cut out and distressed with Tea Dye and Antique Linen inks.
Finally, a row of sweet, little, blue, rubon birds were added, near the left side of the stamped cardstock, just above the twill...
before the entire, prepped piece was adhered, with dimensionals, to the Brocade Blue, cardstock, card face, which, also, had its top corners rounded.
This card was inspired by The Play Date Cafe's Challenge #51.
I'm not so sure that I did this gorgeous photograph justice.  I had a little difficulty with the pale mint-ish green color.  Not that I don't, absolutely, LOVE that color!  It's just that there aren't too many papercrafty goodies out there that boast it.  Plus, Stampin' Up did away with their Mint Melody ink, years ago; and I could've hurt someone for not telling me so, before it couldn't be found any longer.  Bummer!  It's such a fabulous color!  Although, I, also, swoon over Barely Banana, Really Rust, Summer Sun, Cameo Coral, and Lavender Lace, as well; and Stampin' Up decided they weren't good enough for their color collections anymore, either.  What am I going to do with Stampin' Up?!  They're killing me!

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Oh!  And before you run, I'm thrilled to share, with you all, that I was named one of 2 Sketches 4 You's Fab 7 for this card.  Thank you so much, Laura and Kazan!  Have a marvelous Monday, everyone!  I'm off to work on a HUGE pile of laundry.  Wish me luck!
