Pencil Lines 203

Friday, October 22, 2010

Good morning!  It looks as though we're in for a cool and rainy weekend, but we've got plenty of things to do, to keep us busy inside, so we'll be just fine.  Anyway, I couldn't let the week pass without posting a layout, so here goes.
I started this layout by machine stitching, with hot-pink-threaded, straight stitches, around the outside edges of a strip of floral, patterned paper, which had been adhered, vertically, just inside the left edge, of a piece of embossed, sanded, and white-washed cardstock.
I, then, layered a punched piece of aqua, plaid, patterned paper, horizontally, near the bottom of the floral, patterned paper and machine stitched a hot-pink-threaded, zig-zag stitch across its top, running over onto the sanded page itself.  My photo was framed with a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock; adhered near the left edge of the punched and stitched, patterned paper; and embellished with a yellow, striped, twill ribbon, tied in a bow and dressed up with a pink button, laced with a white string bow, and a green, shoe tag.
The May 6, 2010, date tab; "adore" sticker...
polka dot, photo corner; "I Want My Mommy", sticker title...
and pink, flower, journaling card, which reads, I'm not sure what happened to make you cry, but you came into my room whining, "Mommy!" and looking so adorable, I just had to make a permanent memory of it, complete the look.
This layout was inspired by Pencil Lines' Sketch 203, provided by Anna Bowkis.
Well, Adina's busy watching Curious George, and Ezekiel's busily working on his studies; so, I'm off to do a little baking for a family, in our church, that just had a new baby.  Thanks so much for stopping by; have a fantastic weekend; and please, come back, tomorrow morning, to see how you can get involved in a wonderful cause this holiday season.
