Sketchy Thursdays Dec. Guest DT Challenge & TCR #31

It's Friday!  Yihoo!  It's cold and raining here, but Fridays, always, bring so much excitement for what the weekend will hold, that I, barely, notice.  How about a little layout inspiration, today?
I started this layout by punching my green, patterned papers and adhering them, in their respective locations, to the cork, patterned paper.  I, then, strung my lime green ribbon across the length of both sides of the layout and anchored it, in a dressy bow, pinned with two, green, pearlized, stick pins, on the right side, but hang on!  Let's take a closer look at the left side first.
I added a pink, polka dot, patterned, paper, journaling box, which reads, Mommy's friend Betsy threw her a beautiful, fall shower to celebrate you.  It was such a special time with friends and family, amidst the pictures.
Black, crystal flourishes; a pink, polka dot, patterned, paper circle; an oval, journaling, label die-cut; and partial, "sweet baby girl", three-dimensional, sticker title prepped the layout for the completed, "SHOWER" title.  It was made by stamping the the frame, in Basic Black ink, on a piece of Whisper White cardstock; distressing its edges with Tea Dye and Antique Linen inks; sticking the epoxy, alpha stickers in its center and overlapping its edges; and adhering it, with dimensionals, to the layout, in the center of the oval, journaling, label die-cut.
I, then, hand cut a strip of Certainly Celery cardstock; stamped it, with the starry, background image, in Old Olive ink; glittered the stars; and machine stitched it, with black-threaded, back-and-forth, zig-zag stitches, in the top left of the layout.
A little, three-dimensional, sticker butterfly, to which I added lots of extra glitter, and a little, white, gel, pen detail, completes this side of the layout.
Let's pick up the details for the right side of the layout after the dressy bow was tied and pierced with two, green, pearlized, stick pins.  An Oct., date card...
another, black, crystal flourish; a smaller, hand-cut, stamped, glittered, detailed, and stitched piece of Certainly Celery cardstock...
a string of extra-glittered, three-dimensional, baby, clothes stickers; and a couple more, pink, detailed, polka dot, patterned, paper circles, the larger of which was layered on top of a distressed, with Tea Dye and Antique Linen inks, white, paper doily, as well as a Pretty in Pink, cardstock circle, complete the look.
I did create one more page to go with these two.  It was, actually, the one that inspired the rest.
I began this page by, carefully, arranging my photographs, in a circular pattern, on my green, patterned paper.  These are all the ladies who attended my baby shower for Adina.  Goodness!  I'm so blessed!  I, then, wrapped a lime green ribbon around the layout; tied it in a dressy bow, just to the right of center; and pierced it with two, more, green, pearlized, stick pins...
before filling in the center circle, layering one on top of the other, with a circular layer of Pretty in Pink cardstock; a distressed, with Tea Dye and Antique Linen inks, white, paper doily; and a detailed circle of pink, polka dot, patterned paper.  The partial, "sweet" title was stamped, in Basic Black ink, on a die-cut tag, whose white stars were colored in with Old Olive ink, and tucked under the left edge of the bow with dimensionals.  The journaling, label die-cut frames the right side of the completed "Faces" title, which was made the same way as the left side of the layout, above.
A three-dimensional, butterfly sticker, dressed up with extra-glittery wings, and another, black, crystal flourish give the center ring a little, more shine.  Finally, I created another, prepped, in the same way as the other pages, Certainly Celery, cardstock piece and anchored it with more, black-threaded, back-and-forth, zig-zag stitches.
I, absolutely, LOVE this circular design, inspired by Sketchy Thursdays' December Guest Design Team Challenge...
and the scrumptious, color inspiration, for all three pages, came from The Color Room's Palette #31 {Sun Room}.
Whew!  What a stinkin' long post!  If you made it all the way to the end, CONGRATULATIONS, and I'd LOVE to know what you think!  So sorry for all the baby Adina layouts, I've been posting, lately.  That's just the album I've been working on.  Before you run, there's a heap of inspiration, just waiting to be discovered, amidst Paige's chosen, Place Cards Challenge entries, over on the CREATE: Blog.  You might just find this creation, right at the top of the list.  Please, go check it out!  Thanks, Paige!
