Welcome to Wee Memories' Scrappy Saturday Challenge #35: CASE Your Favorite Designer!
The prize, for this week, is a patterned paper pack from Limelight Papercrafts.
I cannot even begin to tell you all how difficult it was for me to pick a favorite designer to CASE!  Talk about a headache!  There are just too many talented and inspiring artists out there for me to even begin to pick just one, but I do have a group of favorites; and Jana Eubank is, definitely, at the top of my list.  Here is her creation, that I chose to CASE...
and here's my interpretation of it.
I started this layout by spritzing my notebook, patterned paper with Basic Black ink; machine stitching, with black-threaded, straight stitches, a double, circular frame; and matting my pictures with Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  A few patterned papers were, then, layered, along with a journaling card, which reads, You were so proud and picked the perfect pic to display, in the center of the stitched frame, before my matted photographs were placed.
I, then, cut, from various, patterned papers and Cherry Cobbler cardstock, and adhered hand-cut, banner pendants along the bottom of the pictures; ran a couple of lengths of black-threaded, straight stitches, across their tops, and tied the ends together in knots; created the "Christmas creation" title, arched above the banner, from alpha stickers; and embellished the pendants themselves with lots of red, black, and white rubons, brads, gemstones, crystals, ribbon, buttons, stickers, die-cuts, and even a black, embossed heart.
A die-cut flourish and photo corner; a Vintage-Style button, laced with a Baker's Twine bow; a few, more rubons...
and a trio of "NOV 21 2009", red, date stamps, complete the center ring.
A few strips of torn patterned papers; a bottle cap, dressed up with a die-cut, paper button, laced with black, gingham ribbon; a punched, patterned, paper heart, embellished with a smaller, die-cut heart, as well as a black crystal; and a "Merry and Bright" brad, finish the page.
Now, it's your turn!  I'm on the edge of my seat, in anticipation, to see who you all will CASE and what your creations will be like.  How exciting!  You have until 11:59 pm PST, next Friday, December 17th, to play along.  Have a fantastic weekend, everyone!
