Good morning! So, they're calling all this snow we're getting a "slow-moving, snow event". Now, they're predicting up to eight inches. Oh, we so badly need the moisture! I hope that it just keeps coming. Plus, if temperatures are going to be in the teens or below, anyway; well, why not? It really is pretty, just like this sweet card I made for my in-laws' anniversary, last week.
I started this card by machine stitching white-threaded, messy stitches around the outside edges of a piece of gold, heart, patterned paper, just before adhering it to the Whisper White, cardstock, card face.
I, then, layered a strip of Garden Green cardstock over a, slightly, larger strip of Whisper White cardstock; machine stitched more, messy, white-threaded stitches across the length of each of its long edges; and adhered it to the card face, just below horizontal center. The chipboard frame was painted with ivory white, acrylic paint; distressed with Tea Dye and Antique Linen inks; glittered; laced with a length of silver-coated string; backed with a circular piece of Garden Green cardstock; and adhered, to the card face, centered, over all existing layers, just right of vertical center. The silver-coated string was, then, wrapped around the card face and tied, in a bow, to the left side of the painted and glittered frame.
A chipboard heart, covered in a wavy, green, patterned paper and adhered, with dimensionals, in the bottom right of the prepped frame, as well as a white-embossed, "cherish" sentiment...
complete the look.
My color inspiration, for this card, came from The Play Date Cafe's Challenge #63.
Thanks, as always, for peeking in, ya'll! Have a wonderful week!

Sounds like you're getting the snow system we had yesterday. Got about 8 inches and now the really bitter cold sets in. We're at 0 now and expected to wake up to -8. No thanks...staying inside! ;)
