Practicing Creativity Sketch Challenge & JBS Bingo Card Challenge

Good evening!  I hope that you've all had a wonderful day!  I've spent a good portion of mine cleaning, cooking, entertaining my two-year-old, and keeping my seven-year-old focused on his studies.  Ezekiel has had an amazing week of school, staying focused and getting right to his assignments, even while not feeling well.  That deserves a HUGE woohoo!  And he's only got one more day to go before our Spring Break.  So, hopefully, he'll be able to keep it up for the last portion of our school year, when we return.  We have nothing, in particular, planned, for our break, but lots of time to play and enjoy being schedule-free.  Sooo looking forward to it!  All that aside, I have a little something papercrafty and all green, for you, today, to celebrate a St. Patty's Day, which is just around the corner.
I started, this card, by trimming a piece of green, polka dot, patterned paper, across its bottom edge, with a piece of punched, green, floral, patterned paper; machine stitching a white-threaded, double, straight-stitch frame around its edges; and adhering it to the Garden Green, cardstock, card face.
I, then, added a length of white, floral trim, horizontally, between the two papers; wrapped a length of white, seam binding ribbon, around the card face, just above the trim; tied it in a dressy bow; and embellished it with a green button, laced with a Peapod twine bow.
A March Bingo card was, then, adhered, with dimensionals, slightly at an angle and just to the right of the embellished bow.
Finally, I die-cut the sentiment piece from Whisper White cardstock; distressed it edges with Tea Dye and Antique Linen inks; stamped the frame, as well as the shamrock, in Garden Green ink and the "Have a Lucky Day" title in Basic Black ink; glittered the shamrock; and adhered the prepped piece, again, slightly at an angle and with dimensionals, near the right edge of the card face and overlapping the Bingo card...
to complete the look.
My inspiration, for this card, came from Ranjini Malhotra's Bingo Card Challenge in the JBS Forum and Practicing Creativity's Sketch Challenge.
Sooo, stinkin' excited to tell you all, too, that I was given the honor of Top 3, over at CASE Study, for this creation...
AND named a Sketchy Thursday's Fave for this layout!  Thank you ever so much to all the designers who made said recognitions possible!  Absolutely beyond thrilled that you find my work featurable!
I know it's, still, early, but I'm off to bed.  It's been a long week, taking care of sick kiddos, and I'm beyond exhausted and could, really, use a good night's rest.  Thanks, as always, for peeking in, and I hope you all have a fabulous Friday!
