All Eyes On... You

Welcome to Wplus9 Design's June edition of All Eyes on... You!  Eeek!  I just LOVE perusing through the Flickr Gallery and finding one of you to CASE.  Well, I found this beauty by my fearless leader, over at The Play Date Cafe, Julie Ranae Murray.
Julie created a stunning, little, springtime beauty; but with all this heat we've been having, my mind keeps wandering towards fall and apple picking, especially, too, because my supply of Apple Butter is quickly disappearing.  LOL!  So, my CASE heralds the beauty of early fall.  Check it out!
I started this card by dry embossing the harlequin design into a piece of Whisper White cardstock and trimming it, across its bottom edge, with a punched strip of Perfect Plum cardstock, as well as strip of apple, patterned paper.  I then stamped the "Thanks" sentiment, from Mehndi Medallions, in Chocolate Chip ink, on a die-cut, using the top portion of the Label Layers I die, piece of Whisper White cardstock, which was adhered near the bottom, right corner of the apple, patterned paper...
just before machine stitching, around the edges of the prepped piece, with brown-threaded, straight stitches and adhering it to the Crumb Cake, cardstock, card face.
LOVED the double twine bow Julie designed, so I mimicked that by doubling up Peapod and Cappuccino Twine and tying it, in a double bow, near the left edge of the card face.
Finally, I stamped the tree image, from Funky Foliage, in Chocolate Chip, Wild Wasabi, and Garden Green inks, on a piece of Whisper White cardstock; framed it with a piece of textured, Ruby Red cardstock; machine stitched, around its edges, with brown-threaded, straight stitches; embellished it with a plum, flower button, laced with white string; and adhered it, in the vertical center of the card face, slightly overlapping the lengths of twine, with dimensionals...
to complete the look.
Thank you, Julie, for the gorgeous inspiration!  And thank you, to you all, for peeking in!  Please be sure to stop in to check out who inspired the rest of the team, before you're off to having a fabulous, work week!
