PDCC88 - Echo Park Paper Co.

Welcome to The Play Date Cafe's Challenge #88!
Our sponsor for this week is Echo Park Paper Co.
I honestly was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed putting red orange, yucky yellow, and juniper together.  LOL!  They just seemed to work!  So, please check out my inspired creation.
I started this layout by adhering the red orange, graphic, patterned paper to the textured, yellow, cardstock, base page and machine stitching, with juniper-threaded, straight stitches, around its edges.  After adhering pictures, I filled in the spaces between them with juniper, crossword, patterned papers and machine stitched, around their edges, with juniper-threaded, zig-zag stitches.
I then stamped the leafy image, in Daffodil Delight and Summer Sun inks, on a piece of Whisper White cardstock; hand cut it out; and adhered it, with dimensionals, in a die-cut, red orange, lattice, patterned, paper frame, which had been white embossed around its edges.
A few, patterned, paper strips, including a numbered, scallop strip, all anchored with juniper-threaded, straight and zig-zag stitches; a handful of color-coordinating, stitched, and buttoned blossoms...
a yucky yellow, mini label, upon which I wrote the May 3, 2009 date...
the "awana" title, which was created from juniper alphas and anchored with juniper-threaded, messy, straight stitches; and Whisper White, journaling strips, which read, This was your 1st year of Awana at First Baptist.  You made so many special friends and grew leaps and bounds both physically and spiritually.  We couldn't be more proud of our little, Bible bookworm, complete the look.
Now, it's your turn!  Have fun with this one, ya'll!  You have until 11:59 pm EST, on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, to link up your entries over at the challenge link above.  But before you make a mad dash for your papercrafting stash, please be sure to use that link to check out what the rest of the Design Team has been up to and to find out what you're playing for, as well as to help welcome this week's Guest Designer, Debby Hughes.  This girl's flawlessly, layered, CAS designs will have you oooing and awwwing until the cows come home!  So good to have you, Debby!  Thanks, as always, for stopping by, and have a terrific Thursday!
