Welcome to Sketches in Thyme's Challenge #49!
Just LOVE to play with circles!  Check out what I created to hopefully inspire, in some way, shape, or form, your own creations!
I started this layout by adhering the large, decorative circle to the cream, polka dot cardstock; splatter painting with a little Ivory White, acrylic paint; stamping the circle, around the photo, with a cereal bowl and more, Ivory White, acrylic paint; and machine stitching, in and around the stamped circle, with pink-threaded, zig-zag and brown-threaded, straight stitches.
I, then, adhered several strips of coordinating, patterned papers, haphazardly, along with a punched strip of Pink Pirouette cardstock, near the base of the layout; anchored them with brown-threaded, straight, machine stitches; and stamped the lacy trim, in White ink, just to soften the top, text, patterned paper.
After positioning my larger picture, I added one of Adina's baby hats from the hospital; an "it's a girl" die-cut, which had all the appropriate info filled in with a Soft Suede marker, was distressed, along with the layout base itself, with Tea Dye and Antique Linen inks, and also served as my title; and one, more, sweet, little, hospital picture, which had been framed with textured, Whisper White cardstock.
A text, photo corner and smattering of pearl and pink, Vintage-Style buttons, laced with hemp twine, complete the look.
Okay, ya'll!  Now, it's your turn!  You have until the close of the day, on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, to link up your takes, in the rightside bar, over at Sketches in Thyme, for your chance to become one of our elite, Top Three and/or to randomly win a $20 gift certificate from The Paper Trail.
Woohoo!  Can't wait to see what you all create!  Thanks so much for stopping by, and please be sure to stop by the challenge link, above, to see what the rest of the uber talented Sketchy Mavens have up their sleeves, for you all, today.  Hugs!
