Note:  If you've come here looking for my Wplus9 July Release Sneak Peek: Day 1 and/or my PDCC89 - The Craft's Meow post(s), please scroll down.

Welcome to Sketches in Thyme's Challenge #51!
Without further ado, let's just get right to my take.
I started this layout by anchoring, with white-threaded, straight, machine stitches, the orange, star, patterned paper to the turquoise, gingham, patterned, paper base.  I then adhered my pictures, both a bit haphazardly, in the center of, and the July Bingo card to the left of, the orange, star, patterned paper; secured a green, polka dot tab, with a vintage brad, in the top right corner of the picture piece...
and created my "farm LIFE" title with plaid and green alphas, the second half of which was anchored with white-threaded, straight, messy stitches, tied off at either end.
A few, color-coordinating, patterned, paper strips; a couple of punched, Wild Wasabi, cardstock strips, all machine-stitched with white-threaded, straight stitches; and a trio of punched, Whisper White, cardstock clouds, prep the layout for stamping.
The flowers were all stamped, in Jet Black ink, on three, different, patterned papers, including a turquoise text and turquoise speckled, as well as an orange polka dot; hand cut out; adhered to the layout, some flat and others with foam tape; dressed up with turquoise and clear gemstones; and flanked with stamped, in Jet Black ink, on a green, polka dot, patterned paper and hand-cut leaves.
The barn, farmer, and cow images were all stamped, in Jet Black ink, on Whisper White cardstock; colored in with Tempting Turquoise, Tangerine Tango, Wild Wasabi, Basic Black, Basic Gray, Blush Blossom, Pink Pirouette, Soft Suede, Barely Banana, and Chocolate Chip inks and a blender pen; hand-cut out; and adhered, in their respective locations, with foam tape.
An orange, sticker, "07" year and Whisper White, cardstock, journaling strips, which read, You could've spent all day just feeding the cows and following Mr. Hatfield around the farm, complete the look.
Color inspiration for this layout came from ColourQ's Challenge #92.
I'm also adding it into the mix over at The Color Room for Palette #66: {Sun Room}.
Now, it's your turn!  You have until the close of the month, on Sunday, July 31, 2011, to link up your takes, in the right side-bar over at Sketches in Thyme, in order to potentially be named one of our July Top Three and/or to be eligible for your chance to win a $15 gift certificate to Freehand Scraps.
Have fun; good luck; and thank you so much for stopping by my little corner of the web!  Oh!  And don't forget, even for a second, to stop by the challenge link above to see what the rest of the Sketchy Mavens did with this gorgeous sketch from our very own, talented Lizaveta.  Thanks again, ya'll!  Hugs!
