Welcome to The Play Date Cafe's Challenge #97!
Our sponsor for this week is Trade Fish Designs...
who sent me a fabulous, sentiment set, Slang Baby, to play with.  Thanks, Trade Fish Designs!  Here's what this week's Color Splash and that stamp set inspired me to create.
I started this card by piecing all my patterned papers, including a piece of Whisper White cardstock that was stamped, in Basic Black and Real Red inks, with the cherries and glittered...
to a piece of computer paper and machine stitched, with white-threaded, zig-zag stitches, between their connections and, with white-threaded, straight stitches, around their edges, before adhering it to the Whisper White, cardstock, card face.
I then wrapped a length of white, seam binding ribbon around the bottom half of the card face; tied it, in a dressy bow, just left of center; and embellished it with a Pure Poppy button, laced with Baker's Twine bows.
The "You are so SWEET" sentiment was stamped, in Basic Black and Real Red inks, on a paper doily, which had been distressed with Tea Dye and Antique Linen inks, and adhered in the center of the card face...
to complete the look.
Now, it's your turn!  You have until the close of the day EST on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 to link up your takes over at the challenge link above.  Please also use that link to check out what the other designers have been up to, as well as to see what you're playing for this week.  We're also welcoming a brand new designer, Stacy Rodriquez, to the team.  She'll be joining us this coming September 15, 2011.  So excited to have you, Stacy!  And thanks so much, to you all, for stopping by!  Have a fantastic day!  Hugs!
