Wplus9 October Release: Day 4

Monday, October 10, 2011

Thanks ever so much for peeking back in to check out yet another, fabulous, stamp set from Wplus9 Design!  Today, I'll be showing off a bit of Christmas Wishes.
Set of 14 high-quality, photopolymer stamps
1 large frame, 5 accent images, and 8 sentiment builders
Size: 4" x 6"
Price: $13

Isn't that filigreed, sentiment frame just beyond delicious?!  And I can think of about a hundred uses for all those darling, mini images!  Fortunately, for you, I didn't have time to put all of those ideas into action.  LOL!  But, please, check out what they did inspire me to create.
I started this card by piecing together the various, color-coordinating, patterned papers; machine stitching, with white-threaded, straight stitches, around their edges and, with white-threaded, zig-zag stitches, between their connections; and stamping, in Rose Red ink, and glittering a row of those feathery flourishes across the lengths of both its bottom and top, horizontal edges, before adhering it all to the Crumb Cake, cardstock, card face.
I then wrapped a length of white, seam binding ribbon around the card face; tied it, in a dressy bow, just left of vertical center; and embellished it with a couple of jingle bells, strung through a length of hemp twine, and a pink button, laced with a hemp twine bow.
Finally, I stamped the frame, in Old Olive ink, on a piece of Whisper White cardstock; filled it in with the stamped, in Rose Red ink, "WISHING YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS" sentiment and bells; hand cut it out; dressed it up with a few, choice, glittered areas; and adhered it, with foam tape, center above my embellished bow.
There's just one more beauty to share with you all this month, and I'm attaching a bit of a contest to it for you to win it for your very own.  So, please, join me again, tomorrow, for the fifth and final day of my vacation-delayed, Wplus9 Design, October Release.  Until then, thanks so much for stopping by my little corner of the web, and have a truly amazing start to your work weeks!
