WOW!  I cannot tell you how hard it was to pick my winners last week.  You all simply amazed me!  LOVE it!  With that said, welcome to another, colorful week, known as The Play Date Cafe's Challenge #121!  I know that you all will serve it up right, too!
And without any mumbo jumbo, here's where that soft, mojito, peony, and sand color story above lead me.
I started this card by stamping a journaling card, in Crumb Cake ink, with the "thankful" text, before stamping over it, in Jet Black ink, with the tulip image, which was water colored with Pretty in Pink and Mellow Moss inks, glittered, and framed with a piece of Mellow Moss cardstock.
I then stamped the "Aunt" sentiment, in Jet Black ink, on a strip of vellum, cut to fit the width of the framed tulips, and anchored it, at either end, with staples.
The prepped piece was then set aside to prep the card base, which was made from Crumb Cake cardstock; dry embossed with the woodgrain design; had opposite corners rounded; ink distressed with Tea Dye and Antique Linen inks; cut in two, horizontally, with a strip of peony, polka dot, patterned paper, as well as a length of white seam binding ribbon, tied in a dressy bow.  After adhering the prepped, tulip piece just to the right of the dressy bow, I framed it with a couple of punched, black, polka dot, patterned, paper, photo corners.
The dressy bow was then embellished with a stamped, in Crumb Cake ink, with the lacy background, tag, which was laced with both a length of string and a safety pin, before being completed with a mojito-colored cameo, as well as a peony button, laced with a hemp twine bow.  A white embossed, on vellum, and hand cut butterfly, trio of clear gemstones, and a length of ivory lace, complete the look.
Now, it's your turn!  You have until the close of the day EST, next Tuesday, March 6, 2012, to link up your takes over at the challenge link above.  Please also use that link to see what the rest of the team has cooked up with this gorgeous, pastel, color story, as well as to find out what you're playing for this week.  Thanks so much for stopping by, and happy stamping, ya'll!

Stunning details (as always)! Consider adding this to this week's challenge over at Little Red Wagon--vintage item. That cameo is the perfect vintage item.

Okay, now I discovered I need to have Market Street's lace stamp, too! I just bought Gingham, Grace, Punched Tin and Houndstooth, and won 'Riding By' from them. Now I see I've missed the lace one! I love how you made a little tag with it, and I also think those glittered tulips are gorgeous!
