Three in One

Good morning!  Before we're off to the zoo, I wanted to quick share a sweet, little, full-of-springtime creation with you all.
I started this card by giving a little texture to that coral, background paper with my scoreboard; dressing up its center with a piece of aqua, striped, patterned paper, trimmed, down its right side, with a punched strip of yellow, graphic, patterned paper; and machine stitching, with white-threaded, straight stitches, around the edges of the larger piece and, with white-threaded, straight stitches, around the edges of the smaller, striped piece, before adhering it to the Crumb Cake, cardstock, card face.
I then dressed up its horizontal center with a length of white, scalloped lace, topped by a yellow, twill ribbon, tied, in a bow, near the left edge of the card face.
The sun was stamped, in Daffodil Delight ink, on a Whisper White, cardstock die cut, which had been dry embossed with the polka dots and distressed with Tea Dye and Antique Linen inks, before being adhered, with foam tape, just to the right of the yellow, twill, ribbon bow.  It was then further embellished with a stamped, in White ink, pocket, on a Crumb Cake, cardstock, die cut pocket, which was adhered, with foam tape, just below the stamped sun, which had been glittered.  The pocket was then filled to overflowing with a die cut, from Coral Calypso cardstock, chick; quartet of stamped, in Pretty ink Pink and Pool Party inks, on Whisper White cardstock, hand cut, and pearl embellished flowers; and a hemp twine bow.
A stamped, in Jet Black ink, on a hand cut, from vellum, banner, "a pocketful of Easter Greetings" sentiment, which was anchored with a coral button, laced with hemp twine.
Inspiration for this card came from Embellish's Spring Color Trends Challenge...
The Shabby Tea Room's Week #105: Spring is Near...
and Card Positioning Systems' Sketch #256.
That's all, for today, folks!  I'll be back, bright and early tomorrow morning, with a brand new challenge from Papercraft Star, and please don't forget that you have until the close of tonight EST to link up your takes on The Play Date Cafe's Challenge #122.  Thanks, as always, for humoring me with a visit!  Hugs!
