I started this card by piecing the various, orange, patterned papers, in a sun burst design, across the top of a piece of computer paper and machine stitching, with white-threaded, zig-zag stitches, between each patterned paper connection.
The bottom of the sun burst was anchored with a piece of watercolor paper, which I had given a treatment of Jack Frost and Pearl Glimmer Mists and plastic wrap to create the water. I so wish y'all could see the shine better on camera!
I then framed the prepped piece with Whisper White cardstock; machine stitched, with white-threaded, straight stitches, around the edges of the water piece; stamped the bubbles in Basic Black ink, before giving them a little Crystal Effects treatment; and wrapped the space, between the sun burst and water piece, with a length of orange, gingham ribbon, which I tied, in a bow, near the left edge of the prepped piece and embellished with a turquoise button, laced with a couple of hemp twine bows, before adhering it, with foam tape, to the Crumb Cake, cardstock, card face.
The bow was further embellished with a stamped, in Basic Black ink, on an ink distressed, Whisper White, cardstock, Cricut-cut and hemp-twine-laced tag, with the "DON'T JUST FLOAT... Swim" sentiment, which I also colored in, just a bit, with Tempting Turquoise ink and a blender pen.
Finally, I stamped the fish, in Jet Black ink, on a piece of Whisper White cardstock; colored it, in shades of Tangerine Tango ink, with a blender pen; hand cut it out; adhered it, with foam tape, in its respective location; and finished it off with a google eye.
Finally, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all the love you've showered upon me throughout my first release, as well as the warm welcome you've all given me to the amazing team that is Market Street Stamps! Love ya lots!
