MSS Market Mini Release Blog Hop

Note:  If you've come here looking for my Papercraft Star: Cardstock Anniversary Challenge Winner, please scroll down.

Hey, y'all!  You should be arriving here, for Market Street Stamps' Market Mini Blog Hop, from the sweet Stephanie Washburn's blog.  If you're not, no worries!  You can get the complete hop list at the bottom of this post.
You may have read, in yesterday's MSS Surprise!  Market Mini Release! post, that MSS is releasing the stamps that were previously released with the Market Fresh Kits, for only $5 each, as Market Minis.  Woohoo!  So, we've all ganged up, today, to show you a little more of what these cuties can do.  I've chosen Berry Sweet, being as it's strawberry season, to create this fun card.
I started this card by trimming the top of a piece of lime, penmanship, patterned paper with a yellow, wave, patterned paper and machine stitching, with lime-threaded, straight stitches, to either side of their connection.  It was then adhered to the Crumb Cake, cardstock, card face and machine stitched, around the combined edges, with lime-threaded, zig-zag stitches.
I then wrapped the right half of a yellow, flocked, star, transparency strip, three times, with a length of sheer, lime, polka dot ribbon; tied the ribbon in a bow; and embellished it with a coral button, laced with a hemp twine bow, before adhering the transparency, horizontally, just below the yellow, wave, patterned paper.
The strawberry image was stamped, in Jet Black ink, on both an ink distressed and stamped, in Daffodil Delight ink, with the Vintage Notepad background piece of Whisper White cardstock, which had its top edge punched, as well as a separate, scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I then watercolored the strawberries, on that scrap piece, in shades of Coral Calypso, Lucky Limeade, and Soft Suede inks; hand cut them out; adhered them, with foam tape, to the prepped, notepad piece; and glittered them.
The left edge of the strawberry piece was trimmed with part of a die cut, from Whisper White cardstock, label and stamped, in Coral Calypso ink, overflowing onto the strawberry piece, with the "You're berry sweet" sentiment.  The "You're" comes from Comfort Food, but the "berry sweet" is a part of this darling Market Mini.  The entire piece was then adhered, with foam tape, just to the left of the embellished bow, before adding a couple more coral buttons, laced with hemp twine, to complete the look.
Further inspiration for this card came from Retro Sketches' Sketch #19...

Now, you're off to the talented Tifany DeGough's blog.  Don't forget to leave lots of love along the way, because there's a $20 MSS gift certificate in store for one lucky hopper.  You have until 11:59 pm CST, on Sunday, July 15, 2012, to leave your comments.  Then, a winner will be announced, on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, over at the MSS blog.  Thanks so much for hopping by!  And be sure to run pick up your Market Minis today, folks!  Be blessed!

The color choices on your card are superb. I really feel like I'm eating strawberries outside during a summer picnic. I'm not typically a huge fan of glitter (it gets everywhere and is so hard to clean up!), but the way you used it is so inspiring. It gives the strawberries a juicy quality, as if they were just washed and are glistening in the sun.
