MSS Aug./Sept. Release: Day 3

Note:  If you've come here looking for my Paper Sweeties: Release Party and/or Papercraft Star 108: Fair or Carnival post(s), please scroll down.

It's that time again!  Time to share more beautiful stamp sets from our talented Market Street Stamps illustrators.  Today we've got three, final sets to share with you all, including Dream Catcher and Hit the Mark, which are illustrated by the crafty Brenda Weaver, and My Thoughts Exactly, which is illustrated, once again, by the talented Stephanie Washburn.  I've got a layout for you all, showing off Hit the Mark, along with yesterday's Growth.  I also snuck in a little sentiment from an oldie but a goodie, Make a Memory.  Check it out!
I started this layout by cutting and adhering a red, polka dot, patterned, paper circle near the top left corner of the neutral, hexagon, patterned, paper, base page and machine stitching, with brown-threaded, zig-zag stitches, around its edges.  I then stamped the arrow strip, in Chocolate Chip ink, across the bottom of a piece of aqua, plaid, patterned paper and anchored it, with brown-threaded, straight, machine stitches, horizontally, across the bottom half of the stitched circle.
After adhering my photographs, including the target, which was cut in the shape of a circle, I flanked their bottom outside edges with stamped, in Chocolate Chip and Lucky Limeade inks, cattails and tucked a ledger journaling card, which was secured with a couple of everyday staples, as well as a paper clip, behind their left side and stacked a vintage number card, as well as a "SPECIAL", cardstock sticker, both with foam tape, just over the top of that same side.
The "Shoot! for Your DREAMS" sentiment was created, arched around the left side of the stitched circle, from a stamped, in Basic Black ink, "Shoot!" and both mini chalkboard and black shadow alphas.  A punched, from red, circles, patterned paper, photo corner rounds out the top of the design.
The tree stump was stamped, in Chocolate Chip and Lucky Limeade inks, on Oatmeal cardstock; hand cut out; ink distressed; topped with the super, sweet, stamped, in Riding Hood Red ink, target, as well as the stamped, in Basic Black ink, arrow, which also runs over onto the base page; and glittered.  It was then backed with stamped, in Lucky Limeade ink, on Oatmeal cardstock, hand cut, and ink distressed leaves, as well as a couple of hemp twine bows.
Just to the left of the stump, along the bottom edge of the photograph, I stamped, in Basic Black ink, the "IF YOU WOULD HIT THE MARK, YOU MUST AIM A LITTLE ABOVE IT. - LONGFELLOW" quote.
A "TODAY'S DATE IS" label was stamped, in Jet Black ink, with the "remember this" sentiment; etched with the August 9, 2012, date; and completed the look.
Tomorrow's the big day, folks!  You'll be able to get your inky little fingers on all nine of this releases stamp sets.  Woohoo!  Until then, please be sure to stop by the Market Street Stamps Blog, as well as the rest of the team's blog to see all that has been created with these amazing sets.
Oh!  And don't forget our Block Party on Friday ;).  Thanks so much for stopping by and for all the love you've showered me with this release.  It has been so fun, and I just can't wait to see what you all cook up with these beauties!  Much love!

Love this one Jinny, the little tree stump is super cute! My dad bought our son a bow & arrow set when he was 10, this reminds me so much of those times!
