Good morning!  I cannot tell you how much I'm enjoying reading your beach vacation stories in my Bazzill Basics Giveaway post!  Thank you so much for taking the time to share!  I may have led you all astray, though.  I don't get to go to the beach for our vacation.  The comments were inspired by Bazzill's Beach House Collection patterned papers.  My brother is getting married the end of October, still in Kansas, but quite a ways from our home.  So, we're planning a little getaway to Oklahoma, for our vacation, around the wedding.  It won't be expensive or long, but it'll be just perfect for our budget and needs.  I can't wait!  In the meantime, I've got another cutie to share, with you all, today.
I started this card by piecing together the aqua decorator and ivory, sheet music, patterned papers.  The latter was stamped, in Soft Suede ink, with the sweet, little birdies.  I then filled the space between them with an aqua, stripe, patterned paper; adhered the prepped piece to the kraft, cardstock, card face; and machine stitched, with aqua-threaded, zig-zag stitches, around its edges and between each patterned, paper connection.
The aqua, stripe, patterned paper was stamped, in Jet Black ink, near its bottom right corner, just above the birdies, with the "a little birdie told me..." sentiment...
and the aqua, decorator, patterned paper was stamped, in Jet Black ink, with the clothesline.  I then stamped the socks, in Pool Party ink, on Oatmeal cardstock; hand cut them out; ink distressed their edges; topped them with stamped, in Jet Black ink, on Soft Suede cardstock and hand cut clothespins; and adhered them, with foam tape, in their respective locations.  The onesie was prepared in the same way with the exception of it being stamped on an Oatmeal, cardstock die cut and its stamped, in Pool Party ink, heart being glittered.
I then wrapped a length of Pool Party, seam binding ribbon, around the card face, horizontally, just above the stamped sentiment; tied it, in a dressy bow, near the left edge of the card face; and embellished with a couple of hemp twine bows, as well as an ivory, paper blossom.
Finally, I anchored a trio of buttons, in the bottom center of the card face, with hemp twine, to complete the look.
Inspiration for this card came from The Ribbon Reel's Challenge #35: Baby Bunting...
and Create for Fun's Color Challenge #61.
That's all, for now, folks!  But I just couldn't resist throwing in this picture of my sweet girl.  For some strange reason, she thought it would be uber fun to put this caterpillar, that she had been playing with all afternoon (Poor caterpillar!), on her nose.  Fortunately, I was already taking pictures, when she decided to cross her eyes, too.  So cute!
Thanks, as always, for stopping by!  I'll be back, tomorrow, with a little something different than my usual; but if you've got kiddos of your own or someone else's, that you're blessed enough to get to spend time with, I think you might just want to stop back by ;).  Have a good one, y'all!
