Three in One

Good morning, and boy, is it a chilly one in our neck of the woods!  Fortunately, we were smart enough to close up the house last night, because 44 degrees is just too close to leaving frost on the tips of our noses.  I cannot tell you how much I love fall!  And in watching the next week's forecast, it appears as though it is here to stay.  So, the creation I have to share, with you all, today is a little goodbye, for now, to summer.  Enjoy!
I started this card by trimming the bottom of a piece of notebook, patterned paper with a strip of pink, star, patterned paper; framing them with a soft green, patterned paper; and machine stitching, with soft-green-threaded, zig-zag stitches around the original, created piece's edges and between its patterned paper connection, before stamping the "With Heartfelt Gratitude" sentiment, in Chocolate Chip ink, near the bottom of the prepped piece and just right of vertical center.
It was then adhered to the Pink Pirouette, cardstock, card face.  The center jar, as well as the pennant, was stamped, in Jet Black ink.  The jar was then colored in with puddles of colored pencil, whose edges were faded with mineral spirits, to appear as though it were filled with lightning bugs; and the pennant was paper-pieced with a pink, polka dot, patterned paper.
Another jar was die cut from white and textured, Going Gray cardstocks; stamped, in Pretty ink Pink ink, with the polka dot filler; wrapped with a length of pink and green twine, tied in a bow; packaged with the die cut, from white cardstock, label, which was filled in with the stamped, in Chocolate Chip, Jet Black, Pretty in Pink, and Certainly Celery inks, frame, "Packed WITH LOVE", and strawberry, which, too, was glittered; and adhered, with foam tape, in its respective location.
The third and final jar was die cut from green, leafy, patterned paper and textured, Going Gray cardstock; ink distressed; adhered, with foam tape, to the card face; and filled with a bundle of stamped, in Pretty in Pink and Soft Suede inks, blossoms.  The blossoms were hand cut out; ink distressed; and embellished with a couple of hemp twine bows, as well as a stamped, in Pretty in Pink ink, on white cardstock, hand cut, and glittered butterfly.
Inspiration for this card came from the Jars of Joy Challenge in the Moxie Fab World, The Ribbon Girl's September Colour Challenge #23: pink and green, and The Shabby Tea Room's Week #132: Pretty Party.
Before I run, I'm just super excited to share that this card was given an Honorable Mention Cup of Tea at The Shabby Tea Room, and this one was placed in the Top Three at The Ribbon Reel.  Thank you ever so much, ladies!  My cup runneth over!
And thank you so much, to you all, for stopping by!  Have an uber blessed Tuesday!  Hugs!
