Hey, y'all!  I'm back with another new set from Market Street Stamps.  This cutie, too, was designed by the ever so talented Stephanie Washburn.
I started this card by stamping the edge of a piece of olive, houndstooth, patterned paper, in Jet Black ink, with the bit of text.  LOVE the way this balances the black button to come!  Plus, text backgrounds have got to be one of my all time favorite things; and I'm particularly fond of this one because it doesn't say anything per say, which means it's uber versatile, but rather just gives the illusion of that which I love.  I then machine stitched, with black-threaded, straight stitches, a double frame around its edges, before adhering it to the Kraft, cardstock, card face.
The bottom center of the card was stamped, in Jet Black ink, with the "you're fangtastic!" sentiment.  It was framed with a chipboard frame, which I painted with Ivory White, acrylic paint, ink distressed, and glittered.
I then wrapped a length of orange ribbon, around the card face, just above horizontal center; tied it, in a bow, near the left edge of the card face; and embellished it with a black button, laced with a couple of hemp twine bows.
Finally, I stamped the little vampire, in Jet Black ink, on an ink distressed, Oatmeal, cardstock circle; colored it in with colored pencils and mineral spirits; gave him a couple of google eyes; machine stitched, with black-threaded, straight stitches, around its edges; and backed it with an Old Olive, cardstock, fan flower, which I anchored, just to the right of the embellished bow, in the top center of the card face.
Inspiration for this card came from Dynamic Duos' Challenge #23: Tangerine Tango & Old Olive.
That's all, for today, folks!  I'm off to get some cleaning done.  Thanks so much for humoring me with a stop by my little corner of the web!  Big hugs!
