Wplus9 Oct./Nov. Release: Group Post

Thursday, October 4, 2012

You made it!  It's officially Group Post Day, and all these fabulous, new goodies you've been seeing, right here on my blog-o, are for sale in the Wplus9 Design Online Store!  But before you're off to getting them while they're hot, I've got one more creation to share.
I started this card by stamping a piece of kraft cardstock, in Old Olive ink, with the trees and, in White ink, with the snowflakes.  I then trimmed its top edge with a strip of white cardstock, which had its top corners rounded and was stamped, in Night of Navy ink, with the "May the SPIRIT of Christmas bring HOPE for a HAPPY holiday." sentiment.  Later, a die cut, from Pink Pirouette cardstock, heart, which was also glittered, was adhered, with foam tape, in the center of the heart in the word "HOPE".
The prepped piece was then adhered to a piece of polka dot embossed, Night of Navy cardstock; machine stitched around with white-threaded, straight stitches; and trimmed, across its top edge, with a portion of a paper doily.
A trio of chipboard houses were covered in color-coordinating, patterned papers; adhered in their respective locations, among the trees; and dressed up with a navy dahlia and two buttons, laced with white string, one length of which was tied in a bow.
A length of Pool Party, seam binding ribbon was then wrapped, around the prepped piece, just below the sentiment; tied, in a bow, near its left edge; and embellished with a lone pearl, before adhering the prepped piece, with foam tape, to the Pink Pirouette, cardstock, card face, to complete the look.
I'm linking this one up to The Paper Players' Tic Tac Toe Challenge #115: Christmas, Sparkle/Bling, Ribbon.  That's all, for this go around, y'all!  But please be sure to stop by to see what the rest of the team has cooked up, and thank you so much for all the visits you've made, by my little corner of the web, to see what Wplus9 Design has in store for your Christmas creations and beyond!  I read and treasure each and every bit of love you leave.  Until next time, be blessed, and happy stamping!  Hugs!
