Weekend Snapshots

Monday, December 10, 2012

Hey, y'all!  So sorry that I'm coming to you a bit late today.  I'm feeling a little icky again and just trying to get through the day, but I did want to share a few pics of our weekend.  Like I said, in my Thanksgiving Giveaway Winner post, after dropping off my son's friend, we headed to Lowe's for another Build and Grow Clinic.  They've come to know us by name over there ;).
Then, after grabbing some lunch, we headed over to our favorite pet store.  They let us hold all the animals, but the bunnies were our absolute faves on this trip.
This morning, my hubby brought home, along with a Starbucks Vanilla Latte for me (Gosh, I love him!), a couple of fun sticker albums, from his office manager, for Adina, and she couldn't have been more thrilled.  She immediately wanted to make his secretary a thank you.  Sigh.  She's a girl after my own heart ;).
Then, this afternoon, I got busy on our Christmas cards.  They're going into the mail first thing tomorrow and minus our usual letter.  I just don't have the energy.
And just because I ordered these at the same time and never showed you all, I couldn't resist throwing in a picture of Adina's birthday thank yous.
I also had to share a picture of Adina and one of her sweet friends, Brooke.  They, or rather Brooke's Mommy and I ;), got together to play early last week.
Finally, check out this cute handle I found, at Hobby Lobby, for our bathroom medicine cabinet.  LOVE it to pieces!
And amidst all the bathroom remodel pictures I did show you all, here, here, and here, I don't think that I've ever shown you the cabinets that my Dad built for the space.  Both cabinets were pine, but I don't like my furniture to be matchy-matchy.  I'm a little wonky like that ;).  So, I stained one of them red and painted the other white.  And I love that we were able to reuse the mirrors from our old cupboard.
I also put my hubby to work building this shelf for me.  Then, I took over for all the painting and distressing; and once again, I found those fabulous knobs at Hobby Lobby.
And check out what The Pioneer Woman is giving away today.  Swoon!  She's doing a 12 Days of Boots Giveaway.  Eeek!  I know my chances of winning a pair are slim to none, but I'm so, so excited!
So, that's the long and short of it, folks.  I'm off to finish the laundry and edit pics for our upcoming Paper Sweeties release, but I'm hoping to have that children's Christmas book list together, for you all, tomorrow.  Until then, have a fantastic week!  Hugs!
