Hey, y'all!  I'm just thrilled to be back joining a newly rejuvenated Color Combos Galore, and we've got a gorgeous inspiration board to inspire your next creation!  Here's how it inspired me.
I started this page by white embossing a trio of doilies, which totally show up better in real life than they do in these photos ;), throughout the design.  I then anchored a handful of color-coordinating, patterned, paper strips, with white-threaded, straight, machine stitches, near the top and bottom of the design, before stamping the hearts in Riding Hood Red ink and glittering them.  My photographs were then matted with Whisper White cardstock and adhered in their respective locations.  The entire design was then framed with red-threaded, straight, machine stitches, running over the edge of the top photograph itself.
The "Adore YOU" title was created from a textured, white, cardstock, "Adore" die cut (I'm trying to get my money's worth out of that Cameo ;).) and stamped, in Jet Black ink, on a hand cut, vellum pennant, "YOU".  Both were secured to a stitched, fabric heart, and the former was further secured with simple staples.
A couple bits of cheesecloth add additional texture, and a "There is nothing better than this", banner tag grounds the design.
Finally, I tucked a 3.21.12, file folder tab in above the far right photograph...
and embellished everything with stamped, in Pretty in Pink, Riding Hood Red, Pool Party, and Lucky Limeade inks, on White, cardstock die cuts, flowers and leaves and lots of fun, heart sequins.
Additional inspiration for this layout came from The Studio's February 3rd Challenge: Love, Inspired Blueprints' Sketch 81...
and the Tuesday Trigger: Cross My Heart in the Moxie Fab World.  LOVE this color combo, the stitched fabric, and flowers!
And without further adieu, here's this week's Inspiration Board #231 to get you started.

4 Inspiration Photos
4 "FOCUS ON" Designer's Challenges
and
16 Inspiration Prompts
(see the challenge blog for details)
NEW INSPIRATION BOARD, NEW WAY TO PLAY
* Choose any ONE of the FOUR Inspiration Photos.
* Follow the FOCUS ON Challenge for that photo.
* Use all the Challenge Colors.
* Create anything you want.
* Play as many times that you want.
* Create layouts, cards, tags, minis, altered projects, traditional, digital, hybrid, or even something from Project Life.
* You don't have to stick to one photo.
* Get inspiration from any of the other photos and add that to your project too!

I chose Inspiration Photo 4 with the Focus on Theme of Hearts.  It also inspired me to add doilies and polka dots.  In addition, I tied in the stripes from the straws, as well as the texture from the towel, in Inspiration Photo 1 and the appearance of vellum, in the pennants, throughout the board.  This week's challenge, as all of our challenges, runs until the close of the month on Thursday, February 28, 2013; and the tag, when uploading to our photo gallery, is CCG231.  Can't wait to see what you all have up your sleeves!  Thanks so much for stopping by, and have an amazing weekend!
