We're back with another, scrumptious and uber trendy, color palette at Color Combos Galore.  Woohoo!  Gosh, y'all, I cannot tell you how excited these color palettes get me!  Sometimes, I think, "Yeah, right.  That's not going to happen."  But then, I start pulling pictures and papers and embellishments, usually in that order, that work with the colors; and I'm nearly always just as thrilled with the outcome, as I was this week.  Although, I have to admit that I like this one better in person.  Don't you hate it when a project doesn't photograph well?
I started this page by piecing a trio of patterned papers, one of which was punched across its bottom edge, near the bottom of the white, graph, screen print, base page and anchoring them all with white-threaded, straight, machine stitches.  The stitches across the top and bottom of the chartreuse, flourish, patterned paper were also tied off, at either end, to the front of the base page.  Before securing everything down, I tucked a Cameo cut, from Very Vanilla cardstock, doily in the top left corner of the design and an emerald green, lace transparency in the top right corner.  My photos were then matted with Whisper White cardstock and adhered in their respective locations.  A green, doily, patterned, paper tag, laced with Honeydew twine, tied in a bow, rounds out the top of the design.  Oh, and I also covered the previous, blue, reinforcement label, on the tag, with a white one, just to stick with the color scheme.
The "enjoying life" title was easily created with a green-framed tag; topped with a color-blocked pennant, upon which I journaled, Baskin Robbins; and anchored, to its right, with a stamped, in Garden Green ink, on a White, cardstock, die cut circle, "ORIGINAL" label, as well as a stamped, in Lucky Limeade and Soft Suede inks, on White, cardstock die cuts, and glittered ice-cream cone.
A moss-framed, journaling tag, which reads, Grandma spoils us so!  7.21.08; a wood, butterfly button, laced with white string...
and a row of emerald green pearls, as well as a sheet of Wild Wasabi cardstock to back the graph, screen print, complete the look.
Further inspiration for this layout came from PageMaps' Pebbles Sketch Contest.
Be sure to stop by the blog link above to check out this week's Inspiration Board #232, so you, too, can get started on this beautiful palette.  Here it is, y'all.  Have fun with it!
I chose Inspiration Photo 1 with the Focus on Composition of Clustered Elements but was also inspired to add a pennant element, pulling in that Color Blocking Technique, as well as the Focus on Trend of Spools with that yummy, wood button.  This week's tag is CCG232, when uploading to our photo gallery; and you have until the close of the month, on Thursday, February 28, 2013, to play along with us.  Can't wait to see where this beauty takes you!  Thanks so much for peeking in, and have a terrific weekend!

Love this page... Such a great design, and I also LOVE that doily!! I think it's funny that we've been using the same Stampin' Up! colors on our projects...last week with Ridinghood red, and this week with Wild Wasabi. Gotta love Stampin' up! :)Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
