Note: This is my third post in less than 24 hours, so please be sure to check out my previous, Paper Sweeties Sketch Inspiration #6 and Guest Designing with ScrapFriends posts.  Thanks!

Hey, y'all!  I've also got a brand spankin' new palette from Color Combos Galore to share, with you all, today!  Check out how it inspired me.
I started this layout by using my Cameo to cut out the star bits and "Creativity TAKES COURAGE" title from the salmon, days of the week, base page.  I then backed the top half with a yummy, peach, patterned paper and the title with both green stripe and black, damask, patterned papers.
A "3" flashcard to represent the age of my daughter at the time this photograph was taken, as well as a strip of more of that yummy, black, damask, patterned paper, was adhered near the top left corner of the base page and anchored, along with various other places throughout the design, with white-threaded, zig-zag, machine stitches.
They were then topped with a piece of chevron vellum; kraft tag, laced with a white, string bow; and my photo, which was matted with Whisper White cardstock and secured with a length of black, floral, Washi tape.
To draw the eye further into the photo, I stapled a "YOU" Polaroid over it and attached an orange, "OH SO LOVELY", cardstock sticker near its bottom edge.
I then stamped lots of little flowers, in Jet Black ink, flowing from the photograph off the right side of the layout and glittered them.  I also painted lots of Chip Art blossoms with White, acrylic paint and glittered them, as well.  The rest of the flowers were created by die cutting various layers from color-coordinating, patterned papers and stacking them one on top of the other.  Foam tape separates the layers, and they were all topped with either buttons, laced with white string or pearls.  A trio of wood veneer asterisks...
as well as a stamped, in Jet Black ink, "photographed on SEP 09 2012" date and a little journaling, which reads, I just love that you always, nearly seven days a week, seem to have some sort of creative medium in your hands, whether it be paints, markers, scissors and glue, paper, pens, crayons, etc.  You don't seem to have a preference.  You just have a heart to create, and I love to watch your little mind at work, completes the look.
Further inspiration for this layout came from ScrapFriends' Monthly Sketch Inspiration #12.  And here's this week's Inspiration Board #238 to get you going.
I was inspired by Inspiration Photo #4 to Focus on Technique: Layered Flowers, but also to incorporate wood elements, by the stick, with the orange, woodgrain, patterned paper and veneer tidbits.  Additionally, the phrase on the chalkboard, in Inspiration Photo #1, inspired me to pick a photo of something that brings happiness, which just so happens to be my daughter, and Inspiration Photo #2 prompted me to incorporate polka dots and stripes.  You have until Monday, April 29, 2013 to add your projects, tagged CCG238, to our photo gallery.  Can't wait to see where this one takes you all!  Be blessed!
