We've got one, final, Color Combos Galore palette, to inspire your April creations, y'all, and it's a beauty!  Check out how it inspired me.
I started this card by stamping a strip of lavender, polka dot, patterned paper, in Perfect Plum ink, with the lace border and, in Jet Black ink, with the "Deepest Condolences" sentiment.
I then pieced together the patterned, paper background onto a the Kraft, cardstock, card face and machine stitched, with white-threaded, zig-zag, machine stitches, around their combined edges and between each paper connection.  I also used those white-threaded, machine stitches, but in a straight form, to anchor a die-cut, from vellum, heart frame before wrapping the card face, horizontally, with a length of Bashful Blue, taffeta ribbon, tied in a bow and embellished with a teal, ribbon bow, as well as a Certainly Celery button, laced with a hemp twine bow.
The rectangle frame is five layers die-cut from White cardstock and stacked one on top of the other to create the thickness of chipboard.  I then ink distressed and glittered it before adhering it in its present position and topping it with a stamped, in Certainly Celery ink, on an Oatmeal, cardstock die cut, frame and, in turn, with a fabric flower to complete the look.
Here's this week's Inspiration Board #240 to get you started.
I was inspired by Inspiration Photo #2 to Focus on Product: Frames.  Additionally, Inspiration Photo #1 drew me in with those gorgeous lilacs and encouraged me to incorporate flowers through my patterned paper, as well as the focal point, and Inspiration Photo #3 challenged me to add sheet music into my design.  Finally, Inspiration Photo #4 inspired me to weave a little shimmer and shine into my final creation.  Don't forget that you have until Monday, April 29, 2013, to add your takes on this week's board, tagged CCG240, and/or any of our three April palettes, including CCG238 and CCG239, too, to our gallery.  Can't wait to see where they take you all!  Thanks so much for peeking in, and have a terrific start to your work weeks!
