DS100 & TRR #52

Good morning!  I've got one, more, Mother's Day card, for you all, today.  I promise that this one will be the last for this year.  I've finally got everyone covered ;).
I started this card by stamping a piece of Lake House cardstock, which I had ink distressed around its edges, in Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, and White inks, with both the flowers and notebook background.  I then framed it with White cardstock; machine stitched, around its edges, with white-threaded, zig-zag, machine stitches; and adhered it to the Kraft, cardstock, card face.
A couple of banners were then hand cut from both a vintage, red, advertisement, patterned paper, as well as a pink, stripe, patterned paper.  The latter was anchored, in its respective location, with white-threaded, straight, machine stitches; and the former was stapled to one side of a die-cut, White, cardstock, pinking square, which was adhered, to the card face and over a bunch of white thread, with foam tape.  I then stamped the "Happy Mother's Day" sentiment, in Jet Black ink, on a gold-framed label and adhered it, with foam tape, in and overlapping the right side of the pinking square.
A length of white, seam binding ribbon, tied in a dressy bow and embellished with a red, heart button, laced with a white, chord bow, as well as a handful of gold sequins, completes the look.
Inspiration for this card came from Deconstructing Jen's Deconstructed Sketch No. 100...
and The Ribbon Reel's Challenge #52: Love Letters.
Thanks so much for dropping by!  I'm off to read with my big kiddo.  Hugs!
