TCM: Beautiful Hymns Two

Thursday, May 16, 2013

I'm so excited to be here today with my first release for The Craft's Meow!  Y'all, we've got five stamp sets, designed by the talented Nina Brackett and Karen Baker, to share, with you all, this month, beginning today with Beautiful Hymns Two.  So, let's just get started.  Shall we?
I started this card by machine stitching a piece of yellow, leaf, patterned paper to the Barely Banana, cardstock, card face with white-threaded, straight, machine stitches.  I then adhered a piece of White cardstock, punched down both of its long sides, in the center of the card face.
A panel of White cardstock was then stamped, near its bottom center, in Jet Black ink, with the "Take my life, and let it be" hymn and flanked with stamped,  in Island Indigo ink, floral flourish images, which were dressed up with clear gemstones.
The top portion of the stamped, cardstock panel was die-cut with a large heart and backed with a bunch of silver sequins, before being adhered, in the vertical center of the card face, with foam tape; and a teal ribbon, tied in a bow, completes the look.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Be sure to leave some love, on the TCM Store Blog, by 8 pm PST tonight, for your chance to win today's stamp set.  And I hope to see you all back here tomorrow for more from TCM.  Have a wonderful start to your weekends!  Hugs!
