TCM: Choose Hope

Saturday, August 17, 2013

So good to have you back for Day 2 of The Craft's Meow's August Release!  We've got another new designer, that I'm sure many of you already know from her amazing images as the owner of Market Street Stamps, to debut today.  I had the privilege of being on Angelica Suarez's team once before and couldn't be any more thrilled to get to play with her designs once again.  Check out Choose Hope!
I started this card by framing a piece of crackle, patterned paper with a sheet of Pacific Point cardstock as well as white-threaded, zig-zag, machine stitches.
Before the prepped piece was adhered, with foam tape, to the White, cardstock, card face, I wrapped it with a length of gingham ribbon; tied it, in a bow, near the top edge; and embellished it with an orange bow, as well as a white button, handmade by my dear friend Annette Allen and laced with a white, chord bow.
The flowers were stamped, in Pacific Point ink, on a die-cut, White, cardstock, rounded rectangle; colored in with pencils and mineral spirits; and framed with a layered, die-cut, rounded rectangle frame, which I made by stacking several layers of White cardstock on top of one another, ink distressing, and glittering.  The scripture sentiment was then stamped, in Jet Black ink, in amongst the center of the blooms, before it was adhered, with foam tape, just below the embellished bow and dressed up with a bursting handful of gemstones.
That's another day, y'all, but we still have so much to share.  I hope you'll join us for peeks of two more stamp sets tomorrow and the sixth and final August Release the day after.  Until then, thanks, as always, for stopping by, and enjoy your Sundays!  Oh!  And be sure to stop by the TCM Store Blog and leave a comment, by 8 pm PST tomorrow, for your chance to win today's stamp set.  Thanks again!  Be blessed!
