It's Day 4 of The Craft's Meow's August Release, and way back on Day 1, I promised you all one final peek of a third stamp set from our very own Clare Buswell. I'm here today to deliver.
I started this card by smudging Pink Bubblegum, Sunshine, and Vibrant Turquoise spray mists onto a piece of watermark, patterned paper and spritzing over everything with Pearl Glimmer Mist, just to give it more of that dreamy shine. Unfortunately, that's not showing up much for these pics; but in real life, it's yummy ;). I then stamped the dream catcher with all its individual feathers and bits, as well as the "follow your dreams" sentiment, in Jet Black ink, smack dab in the center of the prepped piece.
The feathers and frame were colored in with pencils and mineral spirits.
I then hand stitched all those little, silver beads into place, before framing it with a piece of teal cardstock, as well as white-threaded, straight, machine stitches, and adhering the prepped piece, with foam tape, to the Oatmeal, cardstock, card face.
Don't forget to stop by the TCM Store Blog and comment, by 8 pm PST tomorrow, for your chance to win Dream Catcher, folks. Then, tomorrow we'll wrap up all these August peeks with our New Release Blog
Hop. I hope you'll hang in there, with us, one more day. We
all still have so much to share. It's been such a fun week! Thank you so much for all your lovely comments! I truly treasure them all. Hugs!

love the dream catcher stamp set and what you have done with it - hand stitching the beads no less. and I am loving the colors you picked for the feathers. Funny just the other day I was thinking of a layout with a dream catcher but didn't have anything to do it with - thought of doing a pen and ink drawing but haven't got that far yet.
