Wplus9 Oct./Nov. Release: Day 2

Tuesday, October 1, 2013

Welcome back to Day 2 of Wplus9 Design's October/November Release!  I hope you're enjoying all the peeks so far, because we're having so much fun showing off all these fabulous stamp sets.  Today we're sharing projects inspired by Heartfelt Holidays and Silver Bells and their coordinating dies, as well as another Under the Mistletoe die.  Let's just dive right in.
I started this card by stamping the Kraft, cardstock, card face, whose bottom corners were rounded, in White ink, with the snowflakes; topping it with a strip of turquoise, designer, patterned paper; and ink distressing its edges.  I then stamped a piece of White cardstock, which, too, had its bottom corners rounded and was ink distressed, in Chocolate Chip, Real Red, and Pool Party inks, with everything from the snowman and its scarf to the mugs and their branch frame, before butting it up against the bottom of the patterned paper panel.
The white cardstock panel was then framed with red-threaded, straight, machine stitches before trimming the space between the two with a length of red, saddlestitch ribbon, tied, in a bow, just left of horizontal center.
The "WARM WINTER WISHES" sentiment was stamped, in Chocolate Chip ink, on a stamped, in Crumb Cake ink, on a White, cardstock die cut, banner.  Finally, I grounded the entire design with a stamped, in Real Red ink, on a White, cardstock die cut and glittered bow.
How about a little from that set I mentioned yesterday, Silver Bells, as well as that Under the Mistletoe die?
I started this card by stamping a piece of ink distressed, Oatmeal cardstock, in Chocolate Chip ink, with the damask background; trimming it, down its right side, with a strip of green, gingham, patterned paper; fitting a slightly smaller piece of vellum into their combined center; and machine stitching, with brown-threaded, straight stitches, a double frame around their edges.  After adhering the prepped piece to the Kraft, cardstock, card face, I stamped the "may all of your CHRISTMAS wishes come true" sentiment, vertically, in Jet Black ink, in its bottom left corner.
The tag was hand cut from a green and peach, medallion, patterned paper; laced with a couple of aqua ribbons, tied in bows and embellished with a crystal button, laced with a hemp twine bow; and adhered, just to the right of the stamped sentiment, with foam tape.
It's center was then embellished with two die cut, from Garden Green & White cardstocks, mistletoe twigs, topped with stamped, in Crisp Cantaloupe ink, on a White, cardstock die cut, bells, which were decked out with a stamped, in Old Olive ink, on a White, cardstock die cut, evergreen branch, as well as a die cut and glittered, Chocolate Chip, cardstock bow.
Don't forget to stop by the Wplus9 Design Blog and leave a comment for your chance to win today's release goodies.  The Wplus9 girls would also truly appreciate your visits.  Plus, they've got so many amazing creations to share.  Thanks, as always, for stopping by, and have a wonderful Wednesday, friends!
