Wplus9 Oct./Nov. Release: Group Post

Friday, October 4, 2013

You made it!  Everything you've seen here over the last few days is officially available in the Wplus9 Design Online Store, but before you're off to getting 'em while they're hot (That is, if you haven't done so already ;).), I've got one final creation to share.
I started this card by piecing a trio of patterned papers onto the Kraft, cardstock, card face and machine stitching, with turquoise-threaded, zig-zag stitches, between their connections.  A strip of vellum was then stamped, in Jet Black ink, with the "sending holiday CHEER FROM OUR HOME TO YOURS" sentiment; pieced into the bottom center of the combined, patterned papers; and anchored, with turquoise-threaded, straight, machine stitches, running around the outside edges of the prepped piece itself.
The wreath was then stamped, in Chocolate Chip and Ruby Red inks, on an Oatmeal, circle die cut which had its center removed; adhered, with foam tape, in the top center of the card face; and embellished with a heap of die-cut elements, including a stamped, in stamped-off, Tempting Turquoise ink, house, which was also filled in with the stamped, in Ruby Red ink, heart; a stamped, in Chocolate Chip ink, pine cone; and stamped, in Always Artichoke ink, branches.
All of the above bits were die cut from Oatmeal cardstock, and the stocking and bow were die cut from felt.  The latter was also embellished with a white, button blossom, laced with white string.
A hint of glitter for the house's heart and a sheer, red, polka dot, ribbon bow, dressed up with a turquoise, ribbon bow, as well as a white button, laced with a hemp twine bow, complete the look.
That's all, for this release, folks.  Thank you so much for all the comments you've left me all week long.  I've read each and every one, and if I haven't yet been by to return the love and/or say thank you, I'm coming.  I so appreciate YOU!  Please be sure to stop by the rest the Wplus9 girls' blogs today, too.  Until next time, happy stamping, friends!
