Note: If you've come here looking for my TCM: Farewell Blog Hop post, please scroll down.

Hey, friends!  It's the start of a new month and time for Paper Sweeties December challenge.  Debbie has decided to switch things up a bit and turn our monthly challenges into blog hops.  So, you should be coming here via Jeanne Jachna's Blog, but if you didn't and want to start at the beginning or got lost along the way, a complete list of hop participants can be found at the end of this post.  Without further adieu, here's how I was inspired this month.
I started this card by trimming the top edge of a piece of gray, woodgrain, patterned paper, which had been stamped, in Jet Black ink, with the "Celebrate your day Happily Ever After" sentiment, with a bit of pink, floral, patterned paper; framing them with White cardstock; and machine stitching, with white-threaded, zig-zag stitches, around their combined edges.
Before adhering them, with foam tape, to the Kraft, cardstock, card face, I wrapped a length of Baby Pink Berry, seam binding ribbon around the prepped piece; tied it in a double bow; and embellished it with a pearl button, laced with a white, chord bow, as well as a couple of rusty jingle bells, laced on another length of white chord.
The chipboard heart was painted with Lemonade, acrylic paint; ink distressed; glittered; and adhered, just to the left of the embellished bow, in the top center of the card face.  I then stamped Sophie, in Jet Black ink, on White cardstock; colored her in with pencils and mineral spirits; hand cut her out; dressed her in a stamped, in Jet Black ink, on a white, floral, embossed, patterned paper, and hand cut gown, which I'm so bummed isn't showing it's true beauty in these photographs; and adhered her, with foam tape, in her respective location.  She was further decked out with a trio of pearl flowers, as well as pearl earrings, to complete the look.
Here's your Inspiration Challenge #14 graphic to get your creative juices flowing in the right direction.  Choose to be inspired by the scene or the palette or in any way whatsoever.  I picked the palette, but I was also completely inspired by the woodgrain building behind that sweet, little lady.  Can't wait to see what you all cook up!
Don't forget to stop by the link above to get all this month's challenge details.  Now, off you go to Kristi Schurr's Blog to continue your hop.  Thanks so much for peeking in, and have a blessed Sunday!
