TCM: Christmas Blog Hop

Sunday, November 3, 2013

Welcome to The Craft's Meow's Christmas Blog Hop!  You should be coming here from Jessica Fick's Blog, but if you didn't or want to start at the beginning, a complete list of hop participants can be found on the TCM Store Blog.  So, let's just dive right in.  I had so much fun combining a quartet of Christmas stamp sets to bring you all this.
I started this card by trimming the bottom edge of a piece of green, triangle, patterned paper with a strip of red, stitched, diamond, patterned paper; framing the combined papers with a piece of White cardstock; machine stitching, with white-threaded, straight, machine stitches, around its edges...
and stamping the created piece, in Chocolate Chip ink, with the decorative bars, as well as the "HOLIDAY HUGS TO YOU" sentiment.
Before adhering it, with foam tape, to the Kraft, cardstock, card face, I wrapped a length of Riding Hood Red, taffeta ribbon, around the prepped piece, between the two, patterned papers; tied it, in a bow, near the left edge of the prepped piece; and embellished it with a crystal button, laced with a Baker's Twine bow.
Finally, the centerpiece was die-cut from Lake House cardstock; stamped, in Pool Party ink, with the snowflakes; ink distressed; white embossed with the stunning, deer silhouette (Gosh, I adore this image!); adhered, with foam tape, just to the left of the embellished bow and between the stamped bars; and flanked with die-cut, from Chocolate Chip cardstock, and glittered branches.
I also wanted to let you all know that TCM is having a 3-day sale, beginning Monday, November 4, 2013, on ALL fall stamp sets.  They will be 20% off to all customers who enter the code Fall20 at checkout after they’ve logged into PayPal.  Woohoo!

Now, off you go to Karen Baker's Blog to continue your hop.  One randomly-drawn commenter, from the TCM Store Blog, will receive a $15 gift certificate to the TCM Online Store.  All comments must be received by 8 pm PST on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 to be eligible.  Good luck!  Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a truly blessed week ahead!
