Stuck?! May 15th Sketch

Thursday, May 15, 2014

Morning, friends!  I've got my take on another, yummy, Stuck?! sketch to share, with you all, this morning.  Here goes.
I started this layout by smudging Pink Bubblegum and Patina Glimmer Mists onto the white, cardstock, base page.  I then stamped it, in Melon Mambo and Peeled Paint inks, with the hash marks and irregular grid design respectively, before inking it, with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, using a stencil, with lots of little raindrops, which were later glittered.  That set the stage for all the playful and colorful, patterned papers across the top of the page and behind my photos, which were matted with Whisper White cardstock.  The majority of the papers were anchored with bright-pink-threaded, straight and/or zig-zag, machine stitches.
My photos were then grounded with the "Let it rain" title, which was created with a Cameo-cut, from Lake House cardstock, "Let it", which was glittered, as well as white, Remarks alphas.
The sun was then stamped, in Daffodil Delight ink, on Whisper White cardstock; hand cut out; adhered just above the right photo; backed with a large, white tag, laced with a length of Pink Sorbet Twine, tied in a bow; and topped with a chipboard cloud.  A chipboard, heart tab, to which I gave a little shine with Crystal Effects, and cardstock hot air balloon guide the eye to the top of the design.
There you'll find one more chipboard cloud, as well as a little, pink, heart button, laced with white string.
A "TREASURE" sticker and stamped, in Jet Black ink, "ON THIS DATE: AUG 25 2012" date complete the look.
Here's your May 15th Sketch to get you off and running in the right direction.
